Return to Gili Gili Gala Gili Air :)

A wonderful finale after the TESOL was a return to Gili. What’s great is a) the company and b) seeing my new friends again… PLUS, we took a day snorkelling trip to the other Gili’s yesterday… Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan… we had the pleasure of snorkelling in quite deep waters with colourful small and big fish and a hell of a lot of coral. If only I knew all of the names… Susan mentioned naming fish in the absence of a name… I might try that.

Today, we hired an underwater camera. It’s wonderful – I have a few photos I will upload on this post as soon as I have a better connection.

We’re nearing the last few days of the Indonesian travelling leg… and then I’ll soon be in Singapore to be engrossed in a new land. I’ll keep you posted. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, I had the pleasure of introducing Susan, Brian and Travis to the very hospitable Sapik (otherwise known as ‘Oyot’ – as per previous blog entries) from Freedom Bar. Prior to the Belly Bug Outbreak, we managed to have a good laugh with Bintangs, Screwdrivers, White Russians and… YOGA (who would have known?!).

  2. Oops, the comment ended up on the wrong post. That’s OK. I love your snorkelling video and underwater photos as well. Yes, the articles are good, but pictures and videos add a lot of color and pazazz. I look forward to seeing more.

    • Awwww…. if only the photos and videos didn’t take so long to upload!!! I find it fun as well… I’ve learned so much about technology and social networking just through my blog. it’s wonderful! Thanks for taking the time to read and follow! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Yes – Susan and I were in hysterics when watching it… we couldn’t believe how hysterical the students became over the ‘day after tomorrow’ question when they realised how simple it was! it was a wonderful final lesson… more fun than theory … as I’m sure you’ve deduced ๐Ÿ˜‰
