Nico first spotted a small, wooden Chinese checkers game in Railay-Tonsai. He finally bought one in the Sunday Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai, where we then decided to play our first round in Chang Chalaad restaurant in Chiang Mai.
Nico vs Lina. Who do you guys reckon won?
We befriended the owner, cook and masseuse of Chang Chalaad. Their names are Chai, Nok and Payo. They also referred to themselves collectively as the ‘Thai mafia’… mainly because they believed they could provide us with whatever we asked for…
We had the pleasure of being taught how to play a Thai board game called ‘Jackpot’… where we lost a fair bit of money that we paid towards beers each time we lost a round.
We also entertained ourselves with the some Jenga… nice chill time spent with our new wonderfully friendly Thai friends!
